Database Manager is always being updated with cool new features and/or bug fixes. Its creators are constantly keeping up with changes in the digital pinball community and updating the software to align to the PinballX front end as well. If you do not follow the forums and are having issues please make sure you are on the latest version of Database Manager before submitting a forum post.
Upgrading your current PBX installation is an easy process. It is simply a matter of downloading the latest PinballX_Database_Manager_Vxx_xx_xx.x.zip and running it like you did for the new install. The Database Manager installation will just update the core files for DBM and leave all your images/videos/configurations as is.
If you are unsure of performing the upgrade, copy/backup your X:\ PinballX Database Manager Installation to other media, so if something goes wrong you can just copy your original PinballX Database Manager directory back to the original location. Once upgraded, you can just start Database Manager right away.
NOTE: After performing a new installation, or even after an upgrade, always check your Settings, to check if there are any new features added that needs to be configured.
